Breakfast. As it is a weekend I thought I would make brunch type food. Poached egg on wholemeal english muffin, sauted shitake mushrooms, wilted spinach with some bean sproats, nira and garlic and a grilled half tomato. Ice water and decaf skinny latte finished it off nicely.
Normally I make a veg fritata as it is super quick so this was a lovely change. Didn't feel like I was on any sort of program at all apart from not adding hollandaise.
Plan on exercising later in the day but have a yummy baked pumpkin with chicken and pesto pasta planned for dinner tonight so will spend some time in the kitchen if the baby lets me.

Hey Trace: going strong there. I just read your comment on my blog (sorry - a million years late). The statistics are by using a high-tech scale.
ReplyDeleteThe one I have is an Omron Karada scale
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/citygas/hf05-0048/
Or here is another link
http://www.healthcare.omron.co.jp/product/basic/32
It measures the following statistics:
Weight:
Body Fat:
Visceral Fat
Basal metabolism
Muscle mass
Sub fat
BMI
Body age
Basically you want your fats to go down and your muscle to go up. At some point your weight will remain the same but what actually is happening is your muscle % has increased and your fat % has decreased.
I recommend you pick one up. Donki has them - I got mine using my Citibank points.
Keep it up Tracey.
